These pages are provided by a supporter of cryptozoological research on a cryptid called "ropen."
Please consider what has been written about this apparent pterosaur and judge for yourself what it
may be. Consider the vaste wildernesses where this kind of animal may not only survive but thrive,
regardless of the dogmatic axioms of Western zoology. Other names for this kind of creature are
"indava" and "kundua." Expeditions in Papua New Guinea include the 2004 Whitcomb expedition,
the 2004 Woetzel-Guessman expedition, and the 2006 Paul Nation expedition. A scientific paper this
subject is found in the creationist peer-reviewed journal "Creation Research Society Quarterly." It
is titled Reports of Living Pterosaurs in the Southwest Pacific (Winter, 2009 issue).

Opinions regarding Cryptozoological investigations of the cryptid called "ropen" (living pterosaur
or "giant unknown bat" or whatever) are not portrayed as opinions of any church, including
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or any of its leaders.
