A wooden carving in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, seems to be evidence that the ropen is a real living creature, not a myth of native superstition. And descriptions from eyewitnesses, natives & Westerners, strongly suggest that this ropen is a Rhamphorhynchoid pterosaur.
